At Lucy's Dog House, we sponsor a number of dog rescues with a percentage of our sales every month. No matter what we give 5% of every sale to our rescue the rescue of the month. If someone uses the coupon code: rescue, we donate an additional 10% of the purchase price.

Currently we sponsor six different Great Dane Rescues. Why Great Danes? Well Lucy is a rescued Great Dane, so I guess that is the primary reason. The other is that my experience has been that Great Danes end up in rescues frequently. I am not sure if they end up there more than other breeds but it does seem like first time dog owners like Great Danes and then realize how large they get a little too late.
