Take a moment to observe how your dog likes to lay down. Does your dog like to sprawl out when she lays down or does she normally curl up when sleeping? If she usually curls up then a round dog bed is probably the right choice. If they sprawl out a square or rectangular bed is the right choice.

How Thick Of A Dog Bed Do I Need?

For night time indoor sleeping, generally the thicker the better, especially for older dogs. In hotter climates where your dog is going to spend a great deal of time outside a thinner, cooler bed or better yet a dog mat, is the right choice.
